After tearing my right ACL skiing in February 2024 and undergoing surgery in April, I immediately began physical therapy. "Jessica Ford (Dietz) has been a total life saver! I came to her about a week after a horseback riding accident that broke my neck (had a C5 - C7 ACDF surgery). It was a challenging time for me both physically and emotionally but Jessica immediately made me feel at ease. She gave me confidence that I would regain my strength and independence - and sure enough that's what she gave me. She was very knowledgeable and combined beneficial in person therapies along with at home exercises I could do on my own. She worked through my physical limitations (nerve damage and post concussion issues) and while she is clearly great at what she does medically - it was her ability to navigate the emotional & mental side of things that really impressed me. She always knew exactly how much to push me (including when I needed to be reined in :)). We worked towards my goals and before long I was "back in the saddle" - literally. I've had a shoulder injury now for well over a year and have been run through the gamut (brain MRIs, rheumatologists) by doctors and mis-diagnosed/treated by other PTs. "Casey is nothing short of a lifesaver. I was nearly out of my mind in pain from a herniated L5 disc that was lighting up my sciatic nerve down my entire left leg. There really aren’t words for how mind-numbingly painful this is – I could barely walk, couldn’t sit in a chair, was regularly in sobbing tears JUST from the physical pain, AND had tried two epidural steroid shots without much relief. I went to my first appointment with Casey in late December and was able to drive my car home with minimal pain. I have seen him once a week since then (also saw Erin once and she was good too) and did all the exercises he recommended to me, and my pain has gone from an 8-9 to a 2-3 in just the last month. After my first couple appointments I started incorporating reformer Pilates (with modifications) in a few times a week and I am convinced this treatment combination was my divine deliverance from pain. "Hi Aaron, I had a few minutes and wanted to let you know I have a 'success' story...another one for your books. I was in for about 8 sessions back in May 2018 for piriformis issue (fell on right butt cheek on ice skiing back on Easter Sunday 2018). I was 69 at the time (turned 70 11/29). You gave me some VERY helpful info on Cadence PLUS PT exercises, which I incorporated into my stretching routine and have been doing faithfully since at least 5 X/week. Those exercises + rolling on my nubby roller + more aware with my cadence (keeping it around 170ish) got me through Summer/Fall training for 3 Fall marathons, which is why I am sharing with you. I participated and ran some great times for being 69 for Chicago Marathon on 10/7 (5:22) and the Marine Corps Marathon, 3 weeks later on 10/28 (5:24) AND then I turned 70 on 11/29 and ran Tucson Marathon on 12/8 (5:37). I felt the 3rd one...legs a bit weary from running/shuffling 3 marathons in 63 days. However, I did place 2cnd in my new age division (70-74) at Tucson. I also ran all 3 of these marathons better than my 2016 MCM where I ran a 5:58 but by far slower than my last marathon, Seattle for my 50th in 1998 (4:30). I had a 18 year hiatus from running marathons (ran more halves, 10K's and trail runs in those 18 years 1998-2016). However, now I am on a roll but by far slower but I have more time to train, as I am working part-time now. So, thank you for your input with the 4 sessions of acupuncture + the exercises...Still using the TFL release with tennis ball against wall + Half Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch w/ Reach + Shin Roll to right, then left with stretch + Wall Slides!!! + Single leg Romanian Deadlift + Reverse Lunge. I will continue to use these exercises what with the Leadville Heavy Half (15 miler) up and down Mosquito Pass on 6/15. I had to defer that one from 2018 to this year due to that piriformis injury. Then from June on, training for Sydney Marathon (Oz Land) on 9/15, which I am in, as there was not a lottery for this one. + I entered the New York City Marathon (11/4) lottery...fingers-crossed, as this one is lottery and a small lottery at that. I was declined last year and I will keep tying until... I will find out 2/27 if I got in for this one. So, again, Aaron... Thank you, Kate Aaron Page"

"I've been dealing with lower back pain for over 12 years at this point. I've had multiple surgeries and have seen probably a dozen different PTs at this point. Many of them don't keep up to date with the latest research or methods and do the same stuff they learned in school. Cami is intellectually curious and cares about her patients. "I went to Therapydia after spending about 4 weeks in a boot as a result of a badly sprained ankle. Casey and Lisa treated me great! I went in once a week after work and went through a range of exercises. The variety of exercises were great and the difficulty increased as needed. Casey monitored my overall improvement and gave me a few rounds of dry needling. My calf was crazy tight and Lisa went right after. After about 2 months I was back on the basketball court and hiking trails. The space is always kept clean. There are three rooms where private examinations or more personal conversations can take place as well as a common area where this is enough room for athletic movements.
